If you look at all three Gospels: So essentially they were understandably terrified in the entire experience. Yet in the Bible events like these sometimes play out rather differently than we think. Look in your Bibles up at vs. 26 here in Luke 9. The point is that Gods glory is so overwhelming that humans arent engineered to be capable of experiencing it. Paul says that at the resurrection, we who know Jesus will be changed: 1 Corinthians 15:4244 ESV So is it with the resurrection of the dead.
